Fashion Design
Born in Shanghai and raised in Canada and the United States, I began painting and drawing as a child. After studying architecture at the University of Michigan, I graduated from Parsons School of Design in Manhattan.  I then began a successful career as a fashion designer in New York City.  But last year I realized my artistic ambitions lay elsewhere, moved to South Florida, and became a full-time sculptor.

Ceramic Sculpture
I began my ceramics education before I left New York, studying at Greenwich House Pottery with Justin Novak in 2001.  In 2006 and 2007, I took classes with Harvey Citron and Cynthia Eardley at the New York Academy of Art. Now in Florida, I study at the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach with Brian Somerville and Chris Riccardo. I have also taken workshops this year with Lisa Clague and Eugene Daub.

Exhibitions
Though just in the beginning of my career as a sculptor I have exhibited work at the Urban Institute of Contemporary Arts in Grand Rapids Michigan; the Good Monkeys Gallery in Eugene, Oregon; the Baltimore Clayworks; and the 16th and 18th Annual Greater Midwest International Exhibitions at Central Missouri State University Art Center Gallery.
